Hi, Hobbit:

This is Bill and Jan's friend, Roxanne. We've met a couple of times.

I love this photo. I am wondering -- would you be willing to share it with me? I would love to print it out on photo quality paper and frame it.

Take care,
Roxanne

The Gerew's are on my animal network and their facility is just outside of Rochester. So I visited them while on my biz trip. I went there in the evening because they know this dog is Diddy's twin. And what a sweet dog he was! Met their foster dog Prince Pookie. He was rescued from a kill shelter in North Carolina. He had heartworm and a broken leg. He's recovered now from both the leg injury and heartworm, and knows his commands. Ready for a home.

Good. But the flight back sucked. Those little turbo props in high winds bounce all over the skies. It was a LONG DAY.

One of these weeks, Roxanne, I will take pictures of strange plants I find and put them up. Then you need to come back and tell me what they are. Probably in the summer so stay tuned. Thanks for visiting.

I promise I won't go six weeks without updating again.

Oh I'm doing just dandy. Sonya's been a big help with the yard cleanup. But we still gotta get rid of the fallen trees in the back. The deer are using them and driving the dog nuts. But I like seeing them peek through in the morning.

The Daily Hobbit

I live in New Jersey with Peter, my soon-to-be-husband; two cats, a dog, my daughter, and her cat. I am the proud parent of a 27-year-old hard working individual going through a career change. I work in software development, volunteer for public access television, and volunteer for several animal rescue organizations. This is a website of daily pictures with just a few words. It includes, but not limited to, rants, raves, complaints, babblings, soapboxing, trivia, nonsense, excerpts, quips, quotes, and other mindless reactionary statements.
